Healing Care Hospice would like to acknowledge Shewit Tesfai as this month’s Passion Driven Employee for her extraordinary efforts as a Registered Nurse. Shewit exemplifies Healing Care’s values of love, compassion, putting our patient’s first, and continuous learning and improvement.

Shewit is an outstanding nurse and member of our team who understands that patient care is the number one priority in the agency but also understands that compliance is as important as patient care to efficiently run a regulated organization such as Healing Care Hospice. She has always been able to stay on top of her work both on the field and on the patient’s chart. Shewit is always willing to help others in need even when her day is fully booked. Always assisting with visits even when she has patients with increased needs, requiring visits almost daily. Always assisting with new hire training and nurse mentor for students from nursing schools from the community. Shewit goes above and beyond and is this months Passion Driven employee.

Shewit enjoys reading books while sipping Lattes when she not visiting patients and on her days off she likes laying at the beach until the sun sets.
